Lemon and Garlic Prawns Recipe

This seafood dish has an extra zest and kick to it thanks to the added lemon and garlic which complement each other deliciously. We suggest serving these lemon and garlic prawns with spaghetti for a mouthwatering spring meal. This meal is packed with flavoursome and fresh ingredients that the whole family will love and the best thing about it is that is doesn't take long to cook at all. It won't take long for it to be all gone and it very well could be the new family favourite.

Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 15 mins Serves: 4

 

INGREDIENTS


2 tbsp. butter, divided


1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil


0.5kg. medium prawns, peeled and deveined


3 cloves garlic, minced


1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes


Juice of 1 lemon


2 tbsp. dry white wine (or water)


Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

 

METHOD

  1. Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the shrimp, red pepper flakes and garlic for approximately 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the wine or water, parsley and lemon juice
  4. Enjoy your lemon and garlic prawns
